This Thanksgiving…….

 I took this pic on 18/11/09 on a roadtrip. I don’t ever remember being up in time for the sun rise. It was blinding but beautiful.

This thanksgiving marks my new year, yes my new year came earlier than everybody else’s. Am walking a path i’ve never walked before…..a path where am not walking alone, i thought the past weeks were going to be impossible to go through with my sanity intact but i did, WE did it….

I cut wobbly ends and it felt good, i set myself free…….i set you free and i got my ROCK.  You forgave me when i least expected it, I never knew the power the words “I forgive you” held until u sent that text….it felt like a weight was physically lifted off my shoulders.

This thanksgiving am thankful for new beginnings…..am thankful for forgiveness.
